What are the Pool Requirements?

Accommodating a Lemonade Collective Swim Instruction SAFELY at your residence, is simple and easy. For pools to become new spaces for aquatic instruction, they must meet the Health & Safety requirements:

  • Outdoor pool must be heated to 80-82F degrees

  • In-ground or above-ground pool, 3' depth minimum, 6' width minimum

  • Required direct access to the pool from the exterior of the residence; our instructors and clients are not to enter any residential space. Should a participant or guardian enter the home upon invitation from the property tenant, this would not be considered under sanctioned activities covered under Lemonade Collective Commercial General Liability insurance

  • Safety checks - recording and posting the state of the pool's health and physical surroundings prior to allowing any access to the pool

  • Have a Non-Conductive Reaching Assist Pole and Hook on-site

What are the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies?

Swim Lesson instruction will not be delivered if:

  • Environment Canada issues a special weather statement for the region

  • In the event that an active threatening thunderstorm weather pattern is approaching the region. Then the Lemonade Collective instructor on location will make the decision to cancel services due to inclement weather solely based on the safety of all parties. Classes may continue to proceed in the rain if there is no thunder and/or lightning

  • A lesson can be cancelled prior to arrival due to inclement weather by Lemonade Collective without loss of a lesson. A make-up will be offered to replace the missed class at the end of the session

What are the Refund Policies?

Payment is required at the time of booking.

A refund is issued only if the instructor was unable to attend a booked lesson, and no replacement instructor was found to conduct the session, and if the lesson couldn’t be rescheduled to a later date (make-up dates are provided at the start of the session). If a lesson delivery is disrupted by inclement weather (thunder and/or lightning) at any point after our instructor arrives to the lesson location, the lesson will be cancelled and no refund will be issued.

If a booked lesson is cancelled by the participant then the lesson is lost and no reimbursement will be issued.
